High Sierra Trail Culture covers the various approaches taken to traveling across the High Sierra Trails for love, rather than money, and the reasons which have pushed and pulled folks over and along the Sierra Crest in the past. Today that would be us backpackers, day hikers, horse folks, trail crew, rangers, scientists and of course the fisherfolks and hunters. In the past we also look at the mining and logging that have conditioned both the physical and our psychological terrains.
