This trail guide depends heavily on photographs and videos to supplement the written descriptions, the miles and elevations information, and the map selection.
You can search for images of things that interest you in the Sierra.
There are two main ways of organizing trail information. Where and What. The trail guide organizes information in a line by where it is, the forum organizes by location as well as by topic.
Thus the easiest way to access images on this trail guide is geographically, by location along the trail, but it will not be easy to find images of a specific topic. The easiest way to find images of Bugs, for instance, on the trail guide is to search "Bugs" on the Forum. Each page on a bug in the forum links to the location on the trail guide where it was encountered.
That's one of the reasons I built a forum page for every trail guide page. The first reason is to collect feedback, supplemental information, and updates on each location and section of the trail. The second reason is so every topic on each trail guide page is searchable on the Backpacker's Forum.
The forum has a search box in the upper-right hand corner. Each Forum page refers to a topic or location treated on the trail guide.
For other systems of organization check out the Backpacker's Forum. Each trail guide page has a forum page. This means your searches on the Forum will return information about topics or locations described by either the Backpacker's Forum or Tahoe to Whitney Trail Guide.
