There are three routes South from 1000 Island Lake to "Civilization." These are the JMT, the PCT and the River Trail. Below on this page find the miles for the River Trail from 1000 Island Lake to Agnew Meadows. The River Trail runs between the PCT to the East and the JMT to the West.
