Reds Meadow
and
Mammoth Lakes

Mammoth Lakes is my "vacation within a vacation."

Reds Meadow Website Resupply Instructions

When I arrive at Reds Meadw I hang out for a bit, maybe eat breakfast at the "Mulehouse Cafe," just to feed my raging hunger, and to throw Reds Meadow some business.

I always try to support the resupply facilities, even if they are a bit expensive.

Then I take the shuttle into Mammoth Lakes, and spend two nights at the Hotel 6, spending the days eating and resting, and the nights resting even more. Then it's to the Breakfast Club, The GoodLife Cafe, and Roberto's.

Never miss 'em, plus the BBQ.

Check out the city of Mammoth Lakes and its great backpacker services in the forum linked to above.
